From first point of contact, from picking Central PC Repairs as a stab in the dark from the internet, I was impressed with proprietor, Mark Logan's, friendly, knowledgeable, jargon-free advice, followed up by a reliable and very reasonably priced service. Excellent choice for someone like me who is not technically minded.

I’ve contacted Mark (Central PC Repairs) on several occasions regarding technical issues with my laptop. After explaining each problem, Mark has always provided me with clear and concise instructions to follow either to eradicate the problem or to come up with a possible solution. All this is done in a friendly and an easy to understand manner. I’ve called Mark within and out with business hours and he has always come across as someone who is genuinely happy to help and share his vast knowledge of computers. I first contacted Central PC Repairs well over a year ago for help with my home network. A number of problems became apparent whcih were fixed immediately and the one remaining problem was fixed remotely the nvery next day. They provide a very personal honest service, very often giving help and advice totally free of charge. Recently we had other problems with our network speed and other issues with hard drives. The service provided was impeccable and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone and will continue to use them for any problems or IT issues that i come accross in the future.

Mark I thought to be like a bulldog with a bone that would not let go til the problem was solved. No matter how many hours of his time it may take.

Having written my first screenplay four years ago and subsequently having difficulty funding it's production after gaining interest within the industry, I decided about eight months ago to write this story as a novel. As I'd stored the word document on a USB stick, I recently spent a day at my sister's house, updating my work on her laptop. Due to her machine only having microsoft word processor (making my file usable but probably unstable) and I'm now pretty sure, a virus, these factors combined to somehow make my files vanish from my machine and USB several days later. To say I was upset and concerned would be the mother of all understatements! After speaking with a few computer literate friends and checking various areas of the laptop with no joy, I contacted Mark at Central PC Repairs at around four fifteen pm. Mark guided me into the bowels of my machine calmly and refused to even discuss payment which I was desperate to offer! When it became apparent that the files were gone he offered to either send me software which could recover this data for me, or collect my USB and do this himself. Being in a massive hurry to find this priceless data and the thought of a sleepless night, I requested the former. Sure enough, within fifteen minutes I'd recovered files from the USB. A simple proceedure to those in the know. I called Mark to thank him and again insist on paying him. He was genuinely delighted I'd retrieved my file and not only did he still refuse payment but also found it unneccesary to forward his address so I could drop off a bottle or a case of booze. He merely asked that I log some comments as I'm doing now. It would have been particularly easy for Mark to have charged me a lot of money for this service. It was so obvious to anyone listening to me just how desperate I was! I would highly, strongly, wholehartedly recommend this company to anyone. I think this story speaks for itself.
